Timmy the Indonesian and growing up at Nias – Sorake / Lagundri bay.Have been running the Ono Niha surf charter for the past 3 years. Timmy has been surfing since a Kids, at Famous Nias Sorake – Lagundri, traveled around Mentawai, Tellos and Banyaks since 1996 extensively and worked on boats for the last 14 years before The Ono Niha.

Jose has been surfing whole life, growing up at Chile, traveled the world and have been surfing all over Indonesia for decades, in particular in Sumatra’s off shore islands.extensively and worked on boat and shared knowledge about Sumatran waves is impressive and unique, and includes the best kept secrets at the Tellos, Nias, Hinako, Banyaks and other less famous heavenly and pure areal.

Captain Hendrik

Hendrik Fernado has worked with ONO NIHA for the last 3 years. He holds a current Masters Certificate recognized by the Indonesian Maritime Safety Authorities. He will watch over the safety of the vessel, passengers and crew with a diligent and professional eye

ENGINEER – Rudi Gulo

Gulo has been started working from the start the boatmaking in Sibolga, North of Sumatra. He being work as crew and engineer on Ono Niha for the last 4 years. And the dinghy driver to take the guests into the surf  and he keeps the engine room spotless.
